Random Pictures

A family picture from my cousin Melissa's wedding a few weekends ago. What a fun party and a beautiful wedding...

A few fun pictures of our cute little Emily.

My first car, "Locash". The greatest 1982 Cutlass Supreme ever made. White with a blue top, black trunk, and a rust trim. Fully loaded with dingleballs and 1000 watts of Rockford Fosgate Punch bass in the trunk. I had this car from age 16 through after college (with Patrick driving it for about 18 months in the middle while I was at college my sophomore year). I lent it to my brother Gary when his car broke down, and he was finally killed the poor thing. I eventually had to pay a guy $20 to tow it away. There is a shrine in my garage if you ever want to see it.

My roommate "Dirty Dave's" room in college. He would make such a God awful mess that it was unimaginable. He used to have a dozen cups full of water on the floor near his bed at any given time, usually growing some sort of mold. Not to mention his snot tissues all over his floor. It was quite the sight.

Amazing Double Knockout

Shonie Carter, an old school Chicago MMA fighter who still competes today was a guest referee at a Mixed Martial Arts fight on May 16th, 2008. What he witnessed, and what you will see in the video below, is simply the wackiest thing that has ever happened in the Octagon. Enjoy...

Yep...told you so.

Softball...

So my 12 inch Thursday night softball team has been playing really well. I have been playing softball for about 8 or 9 years, and this is by far the best team we have ever put together. We had two guys drop off of our team from last year, and we picked up a good friend of mine who is a great ballplayer to fill in, and our other buddy Phil is now a full time player (he was a sub last year).

Our team motto: "Give nothing. Take everything."

So far we are of to a 3-0 start, with impressive wins.

23-10
23-12
19-9

At this point we're hoping to run the table and win the championship (we came in second last year). We'll keep you posted as the season progresses, because I am sure that all of you are on the edge of your seat.

Until next time...

Wasssupppp......

Maureen sends me emails that are from Emily every once and a while. She always includes some fun pictures, and I really wanted to share this one with you all.

Family updates:

Dominic started a new job with Chase Bank
Softball started, and we are 1-0 (23-10 win in week one)
Maureen is still adjusting to being back to work and she is super busy.
Emily is smiling like craZy and being a super cute little girl.

Other than that, nothing new to report on our end.

Be well everyone.
