Baby News! Maureen and I are expecting! Maureen is just moving into her second trimester and is doing great. We've been to the doctor a few times now, and everything is going perfect. We do not have names picked out, and we are still not planning on finding out if Emily is going to have a little brother or sister. Emily will be between 13 and 14 months older than her little sibling. We are just so excited and can't wait for the arrival of Baby Franchi #2. Our due date is April 15th.
Emily is growing up rather quickly. Its incredible to watch, but I am now starting to realize what every parent has been telling me..."they grow up fast'. Emily is now 8 months old, she has began to crawl, and is all in all a great Little girl. She's happy as can be, always smiling, trying to talk all the time, and enjoying her new found mobility.
Emily got baptised on Sunday the 28th of September. It was such an amazing day. Thanks to everyone who was there to celebrate with our little girl and a special thanks to the Godparents, Maureen's brother Joe and her sister Ginger.
We've had a few great weddings take place in the last month. John and Amy Lammy got hitch in Okaboji, Iowa. It was an 8 hour drive to the western tip of Iowa, but it was well worth the drive. Our good friends Tim and Liz Melvin got hitched at OLPH in Glenview. The reception at the Evanston Golf Club was out of this world. Both were amazing celebrations.
